We are delighted to announce our judging panel adjudicating this year’s Irish Early Career Awards 2016. Our panel of judges are industry experts and practitioners with a wealth of experience and expertise across a range of global and Irish companies. These top professionals will have the challenge of deciding this year’s top 10 Early Career Professional’s in each category, with one taking home the title of overall Early Career Professional of the Year 2016!

With a strong background in both building and leading, IT and Business Solution teams, Myles Lynch has proven himself as a skilled and knowledgeable IT leader, making him an ideal mentor for our young professionals. Myles has displayed his leadership skills over the years while working as a CIO for a number of global companies such as DHL, CEVA Logistics and International Airlines Group (IAG).

With over eleven years of auditing, financial control and management experience with a number of successful corporates, Lawrence is a respected and high-profile figure in the Irish Finance industry. Lawrence qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1994 and from here he went on to work with Grafton Group Plc as a Group Management Accountant before taking up a position with Esat Telecom in Ireland as their Finance Manager. Lawrence then joined the Digicel Jamaican branch as a Financial Controller in 2002. He went on to serve as their Financial Director in Jamaica from August 2003. Lawrence is currently working as Chief Financial Officer of Digicel Group since February 2006, his key objective and responsibility is to drive Digicel’s financial goals through its dynamic growth.

As a serial entrepreneur, with over 20 years’ experience within the recruitment industry, Shay is a highly respected figure in this community and has been involved with some of the most established and respected financial recruitment names in the Irish market.

Shay has a wealth of knowledge in the Finance industry, having worked in a senior finance position for a number of years previous, before entering recruitment.  After selling his first recruitment Company in 2006, Shay went on to establishing Lincoln Recruitment Specialists in 2008. Shay and his team of expert recruiters now specialise in the recruitment of professionals across Accounting, Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Sales and Marketing in the Irish market.

In 2010 Nikki left her role in IMAGE Publications to peruse a new career at Facebook. Initially starting in a sales position it wasn’t long before she fell into her gaming role, working with top gaming companies globally. With no previous gaming experience prior to this role, Nikki instantly fell in love with the gaming world working as the European Gaming Team Client Partner.

After four and a half years with Facebook Nikki felt she had built up her entrepreneurial skills and was ready to venture out on her own. Establishing Warducks in 2014 Nikki and her team now design and build games and they currently have over 50,000 active monthly users with one game logged into over 1.2 million times per month. Based in Dublin, Nikki’s plans to develop and expand her business in the future across multiple platforms. Nikki is a wonderful role model to young Irish women building their career or thinking about taking the plunge and setting up their own company.
