A new category for 2017, The Irish Early Career Awards are proud to announce the finalists for the 2017 Early Career – Engineering & Construction Professional of the Year, acknowledging their outstanding individual achievements in this industry. Michael Redmond
API Technical Shift Leader – AbbVie
- Previously worked for AbbVie in Chicago, Sligo and Cork
- Career highlights include: the launch of a new blockbuster product, ISO 50001 Certification for Abbvie’s global Medical
Device Centre of Excellence, 2 President Award nominations and winner of Gradireland’s Graduate Employee of the Year 2017 - Enjoys flying out of Sligo Aero Club and hill walking/climbing when the weather’s good (a rare occurrence in the west!)
Ali Alkadhimi
Civil Engineer – ESB International
- Ali has been working with ESB since completing my masters in civil and structural engineering at Trinity College Dublin in 2015
- Ali has been directly involved in many multi-million euro projects, including Dams and Thermal stations
- Ali was a finalist of the client focus category of the ESB innovation awards in 2016
