The Judging Process

  • Nomination stage

Nomination forms must be filled out by 10th of June 2022. The awards team will contact the nominee informing them of the nomination and encourage them to fill out the entry form. The judging panel will have no influence in this stage of the process.

  • Entry Stage

All entry forms must be submitted by the 10th of June 2022. From this date, the judging panel will review all entries and score them accordingly based on the category criteria as stipulated in each entry. This is an independent process and the Sponsors, ECA staff or organisers do not select the nominees, short-list or winners and neither do they influence the judges in any way.

  • FINALISTS/WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The short-list is announced in August 2022. Nominees that have been shortlisted will be contacted directly and an interview with members of the judging panel will take place in August (date tbc) . Judges will deliberate and choose the winner to be announced at the Early Career Awards ceremony taking place on the 28th September 2022 in the Guinness Storehouse.
