Final Call for Nominations for The Irish Early Career Awards

September is here and along with it comes the closing date for entries (September 22nd)  for the Irish Early Career Awards 2017. After last year’s success, the Irish Early Career Awards is back and bigger this year with more categories open for nomination and this year the event will be held in The Mansion House on November 2nd, 2017.

The awards celebrate the talent of young professionals under the age of 35 and reward innovation, best practice and outstanding achievement across a broad range of sectors with nominations now open across 13 categories:

1. Early Career – HR Professional of the Year 
This new award is for young professionals working in the field of human resources and is open to consultancy, professional practice and individuals working in the HR departments of corporate businesses.

2.   Early Career – Accountant of the Year 
This award is for accountancy-related professionals and includes people working in professional practice and in the finance teams of corporate businesses.

3.  Early Career – Banking Professional of the Year 
This award is for banking-related professionals, and also includes private equity and venture capital funders.

4.  Early Career – Financial Services Professional of the Year 
An award to recognise a professional working in Financial Services who has demonstrated key professional achievements, abilities, and aptitude in this area.

5.   Early Career – Information Technology Professional of the Year Sponsored by Datalex 
This award is for young professionals working in the field of IT and technology services and is open to consultancy, professional practice, start-ups and or self-employed individuals and individuals working in corporate businesses.

6. Early Career –  Lawyer of the Year  
An award to recognise the best young lawyer across Ireland. This is your opportunity to demonstrate how you are technically and commercially the best young lawyer, any transactions, deals you have had a pivotal involvement in.

7. Early Career – PR & Marketing Professional of the Year  
An award to recognise the best young PR & Marketing individual in Ireland this year. We are looking for a professional who can both service client requirements and meeting business needs, along with growing both their own personal reputation and their firm/company’s presence.

8. Early Career – Consulting and Advisory Professional of the Year Sponsored by Pathfinder Consultants  
An award to recognise the best Early Career Consulting and Advisory Professional of the Year.

9. Early Career – Engineering & Construction Professional of the Year New Category for 2017
This new award recognises an outstanding Early Career Engineer or Construction professional in Ireland over the past 12 months. Ideally, the judges will be looking for skilled delivery and exemplary practice that demonstrates the ability to deliver top class outcomes on a variety of projects.

10. Early Career – Best in Learning & Development
This award is to recognise exceptional efforts by an organisation for outstanding training and development practices they provide to nurture the professional development of young employees.

11. Early Career – Entrepreneur of the Year New Category for 2017
This new award recognises the achievements of an Early Career Entrepreneur who best exemplifies the ideals of entrepreneurship by starting and successfully managing one or more businesses in a way that demonstrates notable entrepreneurial characteristics and achievements.

12. Early Career – Special Recognition Award
This recipient of the Early Career Special Recognition Award will have made significant and noteworthy progress and achievement in their professional career that deserves to be celebrated.

13. Overall Early Career Professional Award of the Year  Sponsored by Lincoln Recruitment
The overall Early Career Professional of the Year is chosen by our panel of judges from one of the winners of the other categories.

 

Feedback from previous entrants to the Irish Early Career Awards indicates that the accolade and awards have many tangible professional benefits including the generation of positive publicity and nation wide recognition, the attraction and retention of talent and an ability to open new doors to connections with this elite young business community.

To enter the Awards, entries must be professionals aged 35 years or under (on 31 December 2016). More information on categories and criteria can be found here where nominations can be submitted.
