The Irish Early Career Awards are proud to announce the finalists for the 2017 Early Career – PR & Marketing Professional of the Year, celebrating the success of Ireland’s top PR and marketing professionals and acknowledging their outstanding individual achievements in this industry. With the celebration dinner set for November 2nd in the Mansion House, here’s a full list of the finalists in this category:

Roisin Mc Glynn - MarketingRoisin McGlynn

Head of Social Media – AIB

  • Roisin works across the consumer, business and sponsorship properties at AIB. She is part of the team who have won multiple prestigious marketing awards over the past 3 years (AIMs, ESA, DMA, PRA’s, Sockies)
  • Her vision is to transform how the financial sector uses social media & digital communications to best serve their customers
  • Prior to AIB, Roisin worked in leading brands such as The Guardian & Davy. Outside of work Roisin is a passionate sports fan

 

Eleanor McGrathEleanor Mc Grath

Head of Press – Web Summit

  • Previously worked in politics in London
  • Worked as a parliamentary researcher for an MP in the House of Commons and for a think tank in London from 2011- 2014
  • Was listed as one of Ireland’s most interesting people in tech under 30 by the Sunday Business Post in 2017

 

MArtyn RosneyMartyn Rosney

Account Director – Edelman

  • Martyn is a core member of Edelman’s Ireland office and is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading young communications professionals
  • Martyn was on the first team to represent Ireland at the Young PR Lions competition at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2014
  • Martyn was also awarded the inaugural Young Communications Professional of the Year in 2015 by the PRII, the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) and Chartered Institute of Public Relations of Northern Ireland (CIPR NI)
  • In 2016, Martyn was named as the first ever Irish based PR practitioner to be listed in PR Week UK’s prestigious 30 Under 30
