Bank Of Ireland has a rich heritage of working alongside and supporting Ireland’s young professionals and speaking about their involvement in the Irish Early Career Awards Brian Corish, Chief Customer Officer at Bank of Ireland sponsor and member of the judging panel, has saidWe are proud to be associated with young professionals who are ambitious, courageous, innovative and who are often the people providing the energy and thought leadership that helps business transform, grow and develop. It is with this in mind that we are participating in the Irish Early Career Awards to recognise motivated and innovative young talent from across the economy. In this time of great change, it is important to promote the positive leadership being shown across all career stage professionals. Supporting the Irish Early Career Awards allows us to make an investment in leadership for the future.”

While great leadership is to be found across all demographics, we are proud to be associated with young professionals who are ambitious, courageous, innovative and who are often the people providing the energy and thought leadership that helps business transform, grow and develop.

Brian Corish also joins our judging panel as is a prime example of an early career achiever. Prior to joining Bank or Ireland he was involved in founding a number of technology startups, Brian is recognised as a leader in brand engagement with over 14 years experience building and leading cutting-edge digital and technology efforts in the marketing and advertising industries having been awarded the Shell Livewire “Irish Young Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2009, the Genesis Award for best business plan in 2010, and Irish winner of the Intel business challenge 2012 as well as representing Ireland in the Intel European business challenge, being the first Irish entrant to make the finals. He spoke to us about his experience entering awards of this nature as a young professional,

“I entered awards when I was younger and I think it was the best thing I ever did. It gets you huge exposure and honestly, what’s the worst thing that can happen? That would be my advice, just do it. It opens a huge amount of doors, gives you a bit of weight when you’re talking to people and a bit more confidence.”
